We have places for an average of two parishes (or groups) per diocese, twenty-four overall. If there are more applications than available places parishes are allocated on the basis of
- their Bishop’s prioritisation
- the need for an overall balance based on the size, location and situation of parishes.
We are committed to supporting all parishes that apply and will take care to explain why a parish might not have been successful in its initial application. Our hope would be that there might be further and ongoing opportunities for parishes to take part.
Costs
Thanks to generous assistance from the Priorities Fund we have been able to keep the costs down to £120/€150 per person. The only other costs to parishes will be the expenses for follow-up/facilitation such as travel or materials (according to guidelines offered by the Working Group).
